Darius Apartments

The food was the one real letdown. We chose breakfast and dinner, and dinner was worse because they didn't ask what we wanted: they'd decide and serve one dish, with no alternatives or buffet. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable, the location was nice, and there was a small pool. Staff were polite and helpful, and let us check in early and check out late.

The hotel is in a good location with amenities all around, and the beach is a brisk 10-minute walk, good for a bit of exercise. The place itself is relatively nice, but the management is ridiculous and can ruin it. A man whose job seems to be going around making remarks told my child to be careful not to damage the freshly painted walls, even though my child hadn't touched them. The next day, we came back from the beach with a baby, a toddler, and a pushchair full of stuff. The same man told us to leave the pushchair by reception and not bring it to our apartment because the walls had just been painted. I've never been treated so disgracefully. After the lift door slammed on my wrist as I was getting in, the same man argued that its sensor was properly calibrated. Of all the lifts I've used around the world, this one has the slowest sensor. It definitely needs to be checked by proper management, but he wouldn't even listen. That's enough to say about how poor management can damage an otherwise nice place.

Our apartment was booked for the day we were flying home, but the manager let us use a different one before our evening flight. It was stunning, which hardly does it justice. Thanks again to the manager and staff for making our stay fantastic 😊

The apartment was really nice, clean, and tidy. Staff were friendly, the pool was a good size, and there was air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room. Can't fault it.
