DIT Majestic Beach Resort

We had a really enjoyable 10 days and would happily return. There was plenty of choice at meals, and we tried the Asian-themed restaurant one evening. It was okay, though not a standout. The hotel is in a lovely spot and works well for families, with lots of sunbeds by the pools and on the beach. Housekeeping was confusing: towels were changed every day even when we hadn’t left them on the floor, but the room wasn’t cleaned daily as expected. I had to go to reception about it.

The bus stop nearby made it easy and affordable to get to Nessebar and Sunny Beach center, just three stops away. We also had a great time at the private beach in September, with lovely weather and warm water. There was plenty to do, thanks to the animation team’s bingo, music quizzes, dances and live music. The live music setlist got repetitive, though it still added to the fun atmosphere. Food was another highlight. The all-inclusive cafeteria had loads of options, and even as someone who usually skips salad, I found fresh, tasty ones there, from simple cheese toppings to more creative mixes. I enjoyed those meals more than the complimentary dinners at the Italian or Asian restaurant, offered every five nights. Those dinners were a nice extra, just not my favorite. The hotel was spotless throughout, including the rooms and shared spaces, and the staff were friendly and ready to answer questions. The TVs were fine, but the remote’s Netflix button didn’t work. Reception explained that the TVs aren’t smart TVs. It wasn’t a big deal, but being able to use my own Netflix account would be a welcome change for a future visit. I plan to come back. DIT Majestic made it easy to relax and stay entertained.

I couldn’t travel because the airline cancelled my flight. The hotel wouldn’t refund me or suggest another option, and Booking.com couldn’t offer a solution either. Disappointing experience. Keep this in mind before booking.

The staff were amazing and always went out of their way to help. The cleaning ladies kept everything immaculate, and the young concierge was especially kind and helpful. We’ve just had another wonderful holiday at the Majestic Hotel in Sunny Beach, our second visit, and it definitely won’t be our last. The food was excellent, and there really wasn’t anything negative to say about our stay. Can’t wait to come back next year. Thanks so much, Majestic, for a lovely holiday.
