JUPITER

People were kind, and for the money it was good value. The cleaners looked after the place well, with the sunbeds cleaned every morning, and our room was clean too. It isn’t modern and could use a bit of repair. Towels were only changed every four days, which I don’t understand. I also think they should knock before opening the door, or give guests a sign to hang outside.

The location is great, and the maids cleaned our room daily. At checkout, they inspect the room for damage or missing things like towels. Quiet hours run from 10.00pm to 7.00am. We talked late on our balcony, and the people two doors down complained to reception, so the hotel gave us a 9.00am wake-up call. Those same guests were noisy from 5am, drinking and filling our room with cigarette smoke. People in the next apartment also said they were loud from 5am and smoked every day. Nothing was said to them, apparently because they were returning for their fifth stay.

The staff at the "Jupiter" hotel were friendly, ready to help, and happy to answer questions. We found the rooms just as shown on the website, with no surprises. They were kept clean, and the fresh, spotless bed linen was especially welcome after a long day. Breakfast was a treat, with an impressive range of tasty dishes. "Jupiter" left us with a very positive impression, combining comfort, coziness, and hospitality.

Don’t stay here if you want to keep your money! They charged us 20 lev for a towel we never took. At checkout they’ll find something wrong with the room so they can charge you.
