Hotel Kotva - All Inclusive

The pools and waterslides were kept up well, and the kids had a great time. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed to relax. Meals were normal, with a decent range of choices. From the minute we arrived, the staff were welcoming, helpful, and kind. It made for a really lovely, relaxing holiday, and we’d happily come back.

There’s a good aqua park and the hotel has nice activities for children. It’s near the beach, with several transport options. Food was OK, though healthy choices were limited. Parking can be awkward if you arrive by car, but there’s another place to park near the hotel.

We had to take the whole group elsewhere for food and pay at a restaurant, and everyone was angry. I was leading the group for a dance festival and had booked an all-inclusive stay that included breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel changed the lunch hours without telling guests. We arrived to eat at 14:40 and were told lunch was over, with no flexibility and no notice. Reception didn’t seem to care when we raised it. They just said we should check the hours ourselves every day. Completely unprofessional, and we definitely wouldn’t recommend the place.

After four days, the kids still aren’t bored of the four pools and brilliant slides. They spend all their time in the water, and the slides feel very safe. There are plenty of bars, the location is perfect, and the pool bar runs from 12 to 18:00 with lots of food choices. The rooms are lovely, and meal service is well timed. We’ve been to Sunny Beach before, and Kotva Hotel is the clear winner for us. Last year we stayed at Barceló, but Kotva is better in every way. The staff are wonderful. We had a problem with the air conditioning, and they sorted it quickly by moving us to another room without any hassle. We travel a lot and highly recommend Kotva Hotel. Well done for making such a great place for families! ❤️
