Hotel Trakia Garden

May 2026. The rooms were kept clean, and everyone was welcoming even though it was the start of the season. The pool bar was great too. It's much quieter at this end, which suited me.

I came near the end of the season and hadn't realized how quiet this part could get. The manager and her husband said the main strip was still busier at the time. Even so, there's plenty nearby for food and shopping, and the quieter location suited me. This was my first time in Bulgaria, and I'd come back. I recommend it for families, solo travelers or couples. It's a welcoming, family-run hotel, the hosts are warm, and the staff are polite and ready to help. Reception is open 24 hours. The hotel is nice and has a large pool. There's a pool bar open 10-6, restaurants serving food until 10pm, and a bar open until midnight. They show sports, including football, unless Falkirk are playing, then that's the priority 😂. There's food on site that suits a British palate. The beach is a 10-15-minute walk, or you can take a bus to Nessebar.

We had a peaceful stay in a quiet setting, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting a calm getaway while still being able to visit the lively bazaar in the evenings. Trakia Garden was our best choice this year. My daughter and I spent a week there, and the price for the value was unbeatable. The hotel was clean, the pool was perfect, and the pool bar is a great idea. Wifi was fast and worked in the garden as well as inside. The staff were incredibly kind and always smiling, and they handled all our extra requests, including printing. We arrived late at night and found they'd prepared a dinner package without us even asking. On our last day, we didn't have to rush, since we could leave the room at noon. Breakfast and dinner had a wide choice of delicious international dishes. The location was ideal, a few minutes' walk from the beach and about 15 minutes from the noisy center. It's close enough to walk into the center whenever we wanted, but far enough from the party district to relax. Thanks so much for the hospitality!

It’s close to the lively Flower Street strip, but the place was still reasonably quiet, and everything was within walking distance. The roast pork was really juicy. I did have to unplug the noisy fridge in the room, though. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay at this family-run business, and I’d happily recommend it.
