Chaika Beach Resort

The hotel is slowly falling apart, and you can see it in the pictures. Of its two pools, only one was open, the water looked really bad, and every sun umbrella by that pool was completely broken. We paid for all inclusive, but it didn't feel all inclusive at all. Food was always cold, we had to wait for both food and plates, and breakfast offered only one kind of bread. Many times there was no cola, fanta or other drink to choose from, just clear water. The pool bar was just as limited, with only beer or one cocktail available. When we arrived, they put us on the 6th floor, then told us the elevator wasn't working. We asked for another room and got one on the 3rd floor, which was better, but the elevator stayed out of order for the entire week. I totally don't recommend this hotel.

Awful stay. The pool was filthy, the bar was bad, and the so-called Irish bar wasn't Irish at all. There was dirt on the room walls, and the bathroom and toilet brush were disgusting. We paid all inclusive but didn't eat there even once. They claimed it was a 4-star hotel, but I wouldn't give it 1 star. Worst hotel I've stayed in.

Our room was above a 24 bar that's now attached to the hotel, and the music blasted through the night. The bathroom had holes in both the walls and ceiling. The food was served cold. Even though we'd booked all inclusive, by the second half of the week we were eating out to find something palatable. I came back from staying here with my partner and two children, and I've never been somewhere so terrible, even after spending a week on a boat deckchair. I could go on, but the nice photos in the positive review I read were actually of another hotel further along the strip. STAY CLEAR.

The food was 5*. We stayed here four of us a few years ago and had music or entertainment every night. It's a lovely hotel in a great location, and I can't fault it. The only downside to our holiday was one night of pouring rain, so we had to watch the entertainment indoors.
