Hotel Tropics Hotel

I enjoyed the sea and beach, which suited me well, and I’d return to this hotel. The area was quiet and family friendly, with the sea a pleasant walk away and small shops nearby. The hotel food was fine, though not great. It could be better, but nobody goes hungry, and I had no digestion problems. I also enjoyed the trip to Old Nessebar, about 40 min from Sveti Vlas.

Avoid this place. Flies were everywhere, and bees sat on the food for hours. The food was disgusting, the same dishes made with the same ingredients every day, with uneaten food left out for 3 hours from the previous day. We were there for 4 days, and the pool wasn’t cleaned once. The rooms were in awful condition, outdated, and smelled terrible from sewage in the bathroom. Housekeeping was incredibly poor. Nobody cleaned our room, they just added toilet paper. This hotel deserves only 1 star.

The food quality was very poor. Their “variety” seemed to be cheese with salami, salami with cheese, salami without cheese, or cheese without salami. When I arrived, the sheets had dirty period stains. They changed them when I asked, at least. I don’t even want to think what an ultraviolet light might show on them, maybe sperm stains. The best thing is the hotel’s proximity to the sea. Bulgaria is beautiful there, and the hotel is decent enough for sleeping, though one bed had a broken leg and kept moving. A closer look suggests it’s a 3-star hotel, while the restaurant sign says it’s a 2-star restaurant. I should’ve researched better. I strongly advise against staying there. I’ve heard the "Moonlight" hotel is much, much better, and they even provide towels. This hotel provides nothing except a small bar of soap. P.s forgot to mention that the door doesn’t lock. The housekeepers don’t even knock before cleaning the apartment. I was full naked when they opened the door. Joke of a hotel.

The food was really good, and everyone on the hotel team was so kind. My husband and I visited recently, and I'd recommend the place to anyone.
