By the River Hotel Complex

The lodgings were decent, with a comfortable bed, standard bathroom utilities, a small terrace, mosquito nets, and a TV I didn't use. There was no AC. The houses sit around the garden lawn and pool, so noise carries straight into them. On that part, I'd say 3/5: not great, but not bad either. The food in the restaurant was amazing, and the meatballs may have been the best I've ever had. But the kitchen seemed able to cook only one dish at a time. Regulars and the owner's friends got their meals first regardless of when they arrived or what they ordered. When they weren't there, dishes came out one at a time, very slowly, and sometimes hot meals arrived cold. For breakfast, I'd strongly suggest reserving banitsa the evening before, by 8PM. The noise was a lot, all day and well into the night, sometimes until 1-2AM. Kids seemed to be allowed to run around freely, especially when their parents were friends with the owner, who did nothing to rein in their friends' kids. The pool was nearly full from 11-17, and finding a chair was difficult whether you were a hotel guest or not. WiFi in our room was awful, and there was barely any cell signal, so 3-4-5G wasn't an option.
