Park Hotel Troyan

We had a great time and would definitely visit again. I don’t understand some of the other reviews here. The hotel is spacious and nicely arranged inside and out, with very good heating. It stayed warm throughout our visit, and at times I even felt overheated. The staff were friendly, easy-going and helpful, and the food was tasty, came in good portions, and had plenty of choice at pretty good prices compared with most places I’ve been. Free parking is a big plus these days. The hotel sits among nature and is quiet and peaceful, unlike how it can be in the city. The spa looks very luxurious, with an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi, and massages at an extremely reasonable price compared with anywhere I’ve been. There are also a few outdoor pools and a jacuzzi, as well as a bar and bavarians table. Those weren’t operating in winter, but looked very good, and I’d like to visit in summer to try them. I’d recommend the hotel to friends and relatives.

I was mostly satisfied with this three-star hotel. It’s in a forest park near the small city of Troyan, a beautiful area. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the rooms were good and mostly spacious. There are two pools, one indoors and one outdoors. The bathroom was somehow small and not very useful, and it combines the toilet, which is why I’m taking off a star.

The room was cold, there was no hot water or air conditioner, and it wasn’t very clean. There was no minibar either. Breakfast was awful, just one piece of banitsa that smelled old, with Nescafe coffee. The espresso was awful too, and cost 2 leva.

I do NOT recommend this place. The food was pretty bad, the rooms were dirty, and the carpet was dirty too. There’s no AC or fridge, and only cold water. The mattresses are cheap enough that you can feel the springs. Paint is peeling off the walls, and the bathroom floor is broken.
