We were very pleased with our stay of almost a week. The location is great, and there are about 10 parking spots outdoors plus 4-5 underground. The room was kept clean, and the staff were very friendly and ready to give us information whenever we needed it. The SPA isn't very large, but it has what you need to unwind. For two adults, it was just right.

The fresh breakfast, with plenty to choose from, was a lovely start to each day. We also really enjoyed having the pool and sauna available for relaxing. Our room was clean and super comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The whole stay felt easy and comfortable. I'd absolutely come back.

After days out exploring, the cobbled streets and the welcoming staff made this a charming place to come back to. Our room was clean and comfortable, and I never got tired of seeing the fortress when I woke up. Hotel Tsarevets is right beside Tsarevets Fortress, with stunning views, and the setting feels like stepping back in time. Veliko Tarnovo is a gem, and the hotel puts you in the middle of it all. One of the highlights of our trip through Bulgaria. I'd highly recommend it for a road trip through the country.

We loved staying here, and our kid was very happy too. The host was very kind and pleasant. The pool and Spa were clean, cozy, and relaxing. Our modern room was clean and restful, with a really comfortable sofa, mattress, and pillows. The location is very good, with a nice view of the fortress and close to the nice part of the city.

The location was great, the Spa was amazing, and breakfast was included and good. The room had several problems, though: stains on the carpet, a poor headboard, and outlets that didn't work, so we couldn't watch TV. After each shower there was water all over the floor, and a bathrug or shower curtain would help. We paid extra for the hot tub in our room, but it wasn't working. The hotel compensated us 50Euro. The front desk person did her best, but the hotel seemed short staffed and it showed. It could be so much more with new management.
