Villa "Stefi"

Villa Steffi looks nothing like the pictures online, and I wish I'd read the other guests' comments before booking. I'm writing this to warn people about the unpleasant surprise and ruined vacation we had. The location is great, but that's about the only good thing I can say. Hygiene was zero. The sheets and towels changed themselves, but nobody cleaned or dusted. Our rooms smelled sour and of urine, and we could smell previous visitors in the beds we slept in. The bathrooms weren't cleaned either: hairs in the drain, rusty taps, and mold on the shower curtain. Spiders wandered around, and in the early hours slugs came out of the air duct. The landlady's attitude was disturbing. She had told us not to run the air conditioner with the windows open, then questioned why we'd turned it on without closing them. She didn't tell us there was another building in the same yard with people staying there, even though they live in an annex beside the villa too. We chose the place because it accepts dogs, but at one point they asked whether we thought our dog wouldn't cause problems being locked in the house all day. A negative review by a woman left a bad impression too. The owners replied that she was mentally ill, and I wonder how a non-medical person could reach that conclusion. I also have photographic evidence if anyone is interested.

The place was filthy and unhygienic. We arrived with a small child, and instead of finding it cleaned, we had to clean the house ourselves. There was sand in the bathroom, the toilet hadn't been flushed, and we found a bug like SCOPENDRA in two rooms, along with a few dead cockroaches. The owners' attitude was poor too. There's a second house in the lower yard where other people stay, and they come and use our things as if they were theirs. This isn't the first time it's happened. Don't visit unless you want to ruin your holiday!

I've never seen bathrooms this dirty anywhere. The hygiene was very, very bad, everything was sticky with dirt, and the hostess was unfriendly. The villa is 30 m. from the sea and has great potential, but the hygiene makes it impossible.

The price is very high, and the photos don't match the actual conditions. There's a lot of mold in the rooms, and hygiene throughout the house is extremely poor.
