Dilov Apartments in Yalta Golden Sands

We were five guys on holiday and had a great time. Our apartment at Dilov Apartments was big and clean, and the terrace with its table and chairs was perfect for dinner. The staff were friendly and nice. Thank you.

The owners made a real effort to be welcoming and friendly. Best customer service I’ve experienced in Bulgaria! The facilities are excellent, with spacious rooms, great WiFi, a nice pool and plenty more. Wish I could give it even more stars. If you’re coming to Golden Sands, stay here!

I booked this hotel through AirBnB last December for August. At the beginning of July, Dilov cancelled, saying they were overbooked. It took them five months to figure that out, and they didn’t offer any alternative, just cancelled the booking.

Mr Stefan, the owner, was a very kind and welcoming host who speaks good English. The apartments are fairly large, with a fully equipped kitchen and AC. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels are provided and the sheets are changed every three days. There’s a small pool on the second floor, and reserved parking spaces in front of the building. It’s about a five-minute walk to the main beach and center of Golden Sands. The two things we didn’t like were the bathroom and the balcony A/C unit. There’s no separate shower area, so water gets all around the basin and toilet, and the small drain can’t handle it, causing a quick flood. That’s inconvenient and not hygienic. When the A/C is on, its outdoor unit makes it impossible to sit on the balcony. Apart from those issues, it’s a good holiday accommodation at a reasonable price.
