Hotel Akacia

The restaurant and lobby had no air conditioning, so both were unbearably hot. At lunch and dinner it was hard to find a seat because the restaurant was too small, and getting food meant standing in a very long queue. The all-inclusive food was nearly the same each day, with very little to choose from. There’s no free parking either, which I’d expect at this price. I was really disappointed. Better find another hotel.

The staff were brilliant and fixed a problem really quickly. There were some funny photos around, too. But parts of the hotel were dirty, and the rooms smelled like toilets. Breakfast was dry, and WiFi wasn’t included, which is odd for an all-inclusive place. The pool is tiny, nowhere near big enough for even a quarter of the hotel. One side of the building has a great view of… trees? The rooms were unbelievable in a bad way, with 80s air conditioning and an 85’s TV, as another review mentioned. The elevator looks like it’ll break very soon. There were NSFW photos inside it?

We had an amazing time and will definitely go back. The location was perfect, the food was really good, and our room was clean. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Avoid Gladiola Star hotel! The elevator is broken and gets stuck with people inside. We told reception about the problem, but they seemed indifferent. It doesn’t feel all-inclusive when parking and WiFi cost extra. The TV looks like it’s from the 90s, with tubes, and the air conditioning seems from the 80s. There was also a 30-minute wait in line for food.
