For a 4-star all-inclusive, this fell well short of what was promised. The food had no taste and very little variety. The room we’d reserved had three single beds, completely unsuitable for a couple. The bathroom was dirty and looked old and uncared for. At the pool, the lounger cushions were dirty and hadn’t been changed. The towels in the room were only 2-3 days old.

The room setup didn’t work for two adults: we were given three single beds. The bathroom was grimy and had old fittings, and the food was bland, poor quality, and offered little choice. Pool loungers still had the same cushions, which looked unhygienic, and our towels were replaced only every few days. This falls well short of the advertised four-star standard. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We went during the quieter stretch, 25.09-04.10, and found it to be an affordable hotel. The food was okay, and the staff were helpful and kind, though they looked worn out from the long hours after peak season. A few changes could make things better. At breakfast and other meals, it might be fresher if the chef cooked meat and fish to order in front of guests, with side dishes ready to serve. That could also mean less food gets thrown away. Fruit salad made fresh for dessert could use bananas, oranges, and peaches. It’d also help to share practical tips, like how the bus app lets you pay half price and avoid carrying cash. For cash withdrawals, the nearby bank machines charge a lot; I found a fair fee at Varna mall. I had a positive stay and hope they can improve things further.

I’ve just arrived, and already regret it. The facilities feel old and worn, there’s a moldy smell everywhere, and the terrace is more like a sauna. Parking is so limited that you can end up blocking at least three cars. The beach is a long way off, too. This feels like a two-star hotel being marketed as four, and could be in the running for the worst place in Golden Sands. If you don’t want your holiday spoiled like mine, stay somewhere else.
