The room looked clean, but it smelled of cigarettes, which wasn't what I expected. There were no breakfast options. Parking was listed as available, but the option on the street is paid and usually full. There's another lot across the road, though leaving your car there isn't cheap.

The location worked well, with a bazaar and bus stops nearby and the beach about a 20-minute walk away. Breakfast was simple but enough, and the rooms were cleaned every day. From day two, the friendly, helpful staff made the stay much nicer. At first I wasn't sure about being in a basement room, and the strong chlorine smell on the first day made it hard to sleep. The air conditioning worked well, but was so loud at night. A small, nice budget hotel close to the city center.

There was furniture blocking the corridor by my doorway. The two single beds kept sliding apart while I slept, and the air conditioner had a bad cigarette smell.

After a bus ride with no AC in over 30-degree heat and no sleep, we arrived at 3 am, an hour earlier than expected because Flixbus dropped us off early. We just needed a bed. The lovely woman found us one, with a great shower and working AC, for a very fair price, around £40 for both of us. One of my best sleeps ever.

The only good thing was the friendly receptionist. The room and mattress reeked of cigarettes, and the shower was awful. The parking garage across from the hotel was quite an adventure, and there was no staff there at night. I definitely wouldn't return.
