The room was extremely small, and the furniture and air conditioning were old. There were no curtains, the balcony was in poor shape, and the blanket was dirty. Those drawbacks bring it to about 2/5 for me. Still, the room itself was clean, the staff were polite, and the location beside Varna Opera was great. The lady and her son both did their best to speak English. I rented for two days, and those positives put it at 4/5, so I landed on 3/5 overall. Fine for a short stay, but I wouldn’t want to spend ten days there.

The host was very friendly and even let us leave our luggage while we looked for suitable parking. Our room was spacious and had air conditioning, a fridge, an on-demand hot water boiler, TV, WiFi, and a balcony. We stayed four nights, and for the price it was absolutely worth it. It’s close to the center, in a nice area, with a pharmacy, shop, and restaurant just around the corner. The beach is an easy walk, and customers get a discount at the restaurant next door. Prices are very good too. A few things to know: payment is cash only, the furniture is a little dated, and they don’t speak much English, so have a translator app ready. We also had no water on the morning we checked out. I’d definitely recommend it.

I had a single room with its own bathroom, bed, TV, and AC. It did the job for one night before my morning flight, though the AC fan was kind of noisy.

Friendly family-run place, about a ten-minute walk from Varna train station. My private room had its own bathroom and a small fridge, and there was free WiFi. The air conditioning worked fine.

They gave us such a warm welcome. The room and facilities were good for what we paid, and I’d happily come back.
