Family Hotel Piter

We stopped in to ask if we could have breakfast from the hotel buffet and what it cost. I asked politely in English, but the woman at the entrance seemed visibly bothered. Maybe there was a language barrier, but her unwelcoming attitude made us leave without trying the breakfast. A disappointing first impression.

This is a family business, and the owners personally look after everything. On arrival, I was greeted by simple people with a very friendly attitude. The two story building has a small, sweet restaurant facing the seashore, right on the beach with only a road between it and the water. The room windows are small and the view isn't amazing, but that helped me sleep well, away from the outside world. For the view, it only takes a few dozen steps from the room to the restaurant or straight onto the beach, day or night. The rooms were very clean, bathrooms decently wide, and the food I tried was well prepared, well cooked, and tasty. A relaxing place to stay, though driving around during the day is tough.

Great staff and free parking, too. Piter Family Hotel is right on the beach, and you can get set up with a free chair and umbrella in just a couple of minutes. I really liked my stay and would recommend the location to anyone going there.

We brought our dog along and had no issues at all, since Piter is pet friendly. The hotel is small and charming, and our room was very clean and well looked after.
