Luna Beach Hotel - Half Board & All Inclusive

The room had a sewage smell that never cleared, even with the window open. Wi-Fi was nearly useless in the room and lobby, and only became somewhat steady in corridors on the second floor and above. During my seven days there, I had diarrhea for four days, no appetite, and felt heavy and uncomfortable even when I hadn't eaten. Meals looked varied at first, but were nearly the same every day, with lots of overcooked meat and repetitive dishes. There was one line for most meals, and the restaurant felt too small for the number of guests. Outdoor tables were mostly occupied by smokers, so non-smokers couldn't enjoy the air. Staff took plates away too quickly, at times before I'd finished. Drinks outside the main restaurant came in plastic cups, and there was no bottled water, only dispensers. After the bar shut at 11 PM, I was asked to pay extra even for tea, despite all-inclusive. The hotel may have potential, but as it is now it doesn't meet an acceptable standard. The food and hygiene problems, stomach trouble for most of my stay, sewage smell, poor internet, and drink arrangements made the trip stressful instead of relaxing. I don't recommend it and won't return.

The food was disgusting and didn't seem healthy. Fruit hadn't been washed properly, and the plates still had breadcrumbs on them. Our room wasn't cleaned well, and we weren't given fresh bathroom towels or even blankets. The staff were rude, with one person being extremely disrespectful. I really don't recommend this hotel for a summer holiday.

There's no beach at the hotel, just a pool that isn't by the beach, and the bathroom smelled bad throughout our stay. Parking costs 25 leva a day. On the plus side, the rooms were good, the service was good, things were clean, and the food had a decent amount of variety for the price.

Both my mom and I got food poisoning on the same day. The food was awful, the alcoholic drinks were terrible, and the service wasn't good either. The pool was impossible to swim in. You'll see why when you get there, but I can't imagine using it unless you're fine being around 100 kids who have 100% peed in it. Bring your own food and glasses from home. Hope this helps 👍
