Royal Hotel

I had some wonderful days at this excellent hotel. The staff are very friendly, and some rooms have a balcony. There's also an outdoor terrace where you can have a coffee, for example. I recommend it 👍🏼

A lovely hotel with caring staff and affordable prices. It has retro decor, and it's about a 15-minute walk from the beach, museums, and attractions. Highly recommended.

The hotel is a short walk from central Varna, and taxis are inexpensive. There's limited street parking. Inside, it's an elegant classic hotel, beautifully restored and renovated, with tasteful antique-style rooms, recreational rooms, and a plunge pool. The place has a pleasant feel, and the staff can be friendly and efficient. Still, the service wasn't consistently competent. Whenever I came in, I saw staff on their phones instead of working. Our room was dirty when we arrived, wasn't maintained, and smelled of mould. Even after I asked, we weren't given coffee. I booked the spa activities the day before because they needed preheating, but nothing was ready on the day, and I had to switch it on myself. Staff need to pay more attention to cleanliness and detail.

The food was amazing, and the wellness area was very good and private. My room was clean and nice, and the bed was very comfortable for me. The staff were awesome and did as much as they could to help with any question. Their daytime service deserves praise. This old-style hotel has something special about it that makes it worth visiting. It's also only a five-minute walk to the city center, so I'll definitely come back.
