Villa Aurora

We went as a group of friends on a school trip and stayed six days. The service was awful, and most of the time the staff were rude. When we arrived at 6:00 in the morning, staff said we could check in at 7:00, but we waited until 2:00 p.m. before they gave us two temporary rooms to share. Our proper rooms didn’t come until 4:00. Towels were never changed, and one room already had a broken shower. The food was very cheap, and flies were everywhere near it. One friend got food poisoning and had to stay inside all day, though she felt better the next day. A staff member also lied about when the pool closed so we could swim alone. They did let us hang out in the outdoor cafeteria late. The whole group felt the service was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

A bad choice and a waste of money. The service was rude, the rooms dirty, and flies were everywhere. I probably got food poisoning from them. They didn’t change the towels, and when I got my room key, the room had been used by the previous guests. After I was sick, there was vomit in the toilet, but they didn’t clean it, just emptied the trash. That seems to be the hotel’s idea of cleaning. If zero stars were an option, I’d have chosen it.
