The terrace we had was HUGE, and the room itself was plenty big, with a king size bed. It’s a peaceful, quiet place with an amazing view and a very good location. The spa is lovely, with two pools, and the masseuse is great. I’d definitely try one of their massages. Breakfast was fantastic, and the restaurant was good. Dinner was fine, though that’s personal opinion: I’m not much of a meat girl, and the main dish each night was a choice between BBQ and BBQ. I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely go back!

The food was great, and the rooms were spotless. The staff were so accommodating that we’d be happy to come back and enjoy another stay.

I only called to ask whether they had a room free for the coming weekend, and the woman on the phone sounded extremely irritated. She scolded me for planning at the last minute, then said, “We don't have any available rooms and neither anyone in the whole town.” I have a busy life, and I’m allowed to ask about availability. A simple yes or no would have been enough. That kind of response doesn’t help her business or tourism in the town.

The staff were really friendly, which was a plus, but it didn’t make up for the rest. The interior feels very old and worn, the spa is tiny, and the small indoor pool was dirty. There’s also no wi-fi in the rooms, which seems especially odd for Bulgaria, where you’d normally expect internet at no extra cost.

The meals were magnificent, and the staff were both professional and friendly. It’s a lovely little hotel with what you need to unwind, including indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, a steam bath, and massages.
