The dated feel of the hotel might put you off at first, but we found it a great place to relax, with staff who treated us really well. Rooms are spacious and laid out so the balconies don’t overlap. The massages inside the hotel are pleasant and very affordable. There’s also a jacuzzi room, sauna, and steam bath. Those three facilities are quite old now, but still going. The two pools are both filled with hot mineral water, changed every day. The smaller one is warmer and shallower; the big one is good for swimming, about 160cm deep, with warm rather than hot water. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner at a block table when there are enough guests, or a set menu when there are fewer. The block is better, of course. Rooms are well heated, so don’t overdress, it gets very warm inside. Most, if not all, of the doors have trouble closing properly. Even with that, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and will definitely come back!

The prices are very reasonable compared with other hotels in Velingrad, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a quiet area, but there’s also a night security guard, so there’s nothing to worry about. This is a nice family hotel near the center of SPA village Velingrad. There are two pleasant outdoor pools, one large with warm mineral water and a smaller, hotter one that’s just right for kids. The restaurant serves a good range of traditional bulgarian homemade meals. The hotel also has a sauna, masseuse, steam room, and jacuzzi.

The outside pools were good, one hot and one warm, and both dinner and breakfast were good. We were moved to a suite because nothing was working when we first got our room, which was fine. The price compared with the service was dobre. It seemed you had to book an appointment for the sauna and steam room, and the jacuzzi also required an appointment. The sauna was dirty, with a spiderweb inside, and its heater was partly broken and too hot. The steam bath was dirty and smelled old.
