4/10
I’d stayed here once before and everything had been good. This time I chose it because I was traveling alone and it was affordable compared with other Velingrad hotels. The room was dusty, and the towels were very thin and looked like they’d been used repeatedly for 10 or 15 years. Breakfast was okay. The indoor pool was hot, the steam room wasn’t working at all, and although the sauna was switched on, it wasn’t hot. This will be my last visit. Sorry.

The rooms are okay, nothing special, and it definitely doesn’t meet a four-star standard. The spa was among the worst I’ve experienced. The pool is so small that once more than five people are in it, you can practically only stand still. The sauna is tiny too, and it’s dry with no water to pour. The food was simply poor, with very low quality.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were rude, the food tasteless, and the Wi-Fi practically nonexistent. SABENA, such a bloody experience. Never again.

The hair stylist was good. Watch out for the stairs in wet or cold weather, they’re dangerous.
