The hosts, Reni and her spouse, welcomed us so warmly, and the wonderful food they made changed our plans. We’d booked one night, then decided to extend our stay as soon as we arrived. The house is a dream for anyone wanting to experience typical Bulgarian historic homes. It’s peaceful and you can really catch up on sleep. The food was delicious, from freshly picked tomatoes and seasonal garden fruit and vegetables to meat like in the old days. The chicken fillets were juicy and tasty, and the Sunday pancakes brought back childhood memories. The hosts are dog-friendly too. We totally recommend the place.

The service was outstanding. The woman who looked after us communicated through Google Translate, and when we left after two days she gave us a hug. It’s a romantic place close to the city center, and the price felt quite reasonable.

The owners made us feel at home, especially Reni, who welcomed us like friends. Her husband cooks beautifully, and everything we ate was homemade and really tasty. The house itself is about 160 years old, with verandas, paintings, and a flower-filled yard with vines. It’s just two minutes from the center, yet quiet and peaceful, with a little magic to it. Our comfortable room had everything we needed, including air conditioning. We’d happily come back.
