It's only a two-minute walk to the Danube, which made for a refreshing morning stroll. The hotel feels modern and friendly, with warm staff who were always ready to help. Our Bulgarian is very poor, so they always switched to English for us. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. There’s laundry service and breakfast, and they even heated up our take-home leftovers after we had too much food at the wonderful Riviera Restaurant! One thing to watch: as in many Eastern European buildings, the elevator has no gate, leaving the moving wall exposed to careless visitors.

We stopped here for one night while passing through Bulgaria. It was a nice hotel, close to the Danube River, and seems well suited to a 1-2 day stay.

It was our first visit to Vidin, and we had a really good stay. The polite staff kept the rooms clean and tidy, and we enjoyed the rose-infused shampoos and soaps. The location is great too, just 30-50 meters from the Danube river. Bring mosquito repellent, it's a must.

The staff were very kind and responsive, and the clean rooms had everything we needed. You can order breakfast and dinner, and both were very tasty. It’s a lovely place to stay for work or rest, with a great location for walking to the city center or the riverside, whether you want to stroll along the Danube river or sit down for fresh fish at one of the restaurants by the river.

We had a cold buffet for breakfast, and the staff also offered us hot French toast. They were amazing, always trying to accommodate any request, and so helpful and accommodating in general. The rooms were lovely, with comfortable beds and hot water whenever we chose to bathe. This is a FABULOUS hotel.
