The place is beautiful, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a short stay. It takes a long time to get there, and we only stayed one night. The worst part was checking out early: five of us needed showers, but neither of the two bathrooms had hot water. There was no phone to contact the owner and no information about what to do. We were very disappointed, since we had a long drive ahead and couldn’t freshen up.

It’s an astonishing place to relax, high above the city and somehow surrounded by forest. Very safe and quiet.

Bachvarovi Kashti, Tryavna has a unique feel, with a cozy, clean, authentic atmosphere that made me feel at home. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, and clearly put a lot of care into their guests. It’s peaceful and quiet for a proper vacation, yet just steps from the center of Tryavna. I was extremely satisfied and will definitely come back. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a place with soul and genuine Bulgarian hospitality! 🌟🙌🔥❤️
