Guest House Vurben

A nice spot for having fun.

The rooms were clean, nicely set up, and already warm when we arrived. It’s a great house for a big group and well located for a party, though there isn’t a shop in the village. I’d visit again.

We ended up turning the car around and leaving. The owner wouldn’t let us stay in the guest house, saying in person that he only rented the whole house, not individual rooms. Then came excuses about the electricity, the water heater, and other things. He suggested a ground floor apartment in a neighboring house, but it definitely wasn’t clean. He said he sometimes put up his workers or drivers there. After that, he offered to make us food in his kitchen and dining room while he lay in front of the TV. I have no words for the village or the way we were treated.

There’s a pleasant feel to the place, with fresh air and peace and quiet. It’s a sports and recreation house in the village of Varben, Plovdiv region, with very good accommodation. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, ready to help with whatever you need and even go further.
