We came in December, more than 20 years after my previous visit, and I’m referring only to the restaurant. The food was good and the staff attentive, though menu prices felt average to slightly high. The interior was disappointing, dated and reminiscent of the socialist style. There’s a small parking area guests can use for free.

We booked three nights but left after just one. The photos say plenty about what’s wrong here, and words like dismal, run-down and depressing came to mind. I felt misled by the positive reviews. The pool bar has no English menu for food or drinks, and a construction site directly across from the hotel makes constant daytime noise.

The heated pool is perfect, and the green surroundings are lovely. Watch what you order at the bar, though, the prices are way too high! 😉

Three hours before our event, the place still hadn’t been cleaned, so the decorations couldn’t be set up on time. The staff seemed completely amateur and didn’t have the capacity to deliver good service. Please don’t use this venue for organized events like weddings.

We had a really enjoyable stay, and the shower was great whenever there was hot water. We drove here from the hotel, and it’s a decent distance away. The pool is now free for all guests after a recent rule change, which is great, and we didn’t hear any crying children during our stay. There was a strange smell when we came into the apartment in the evening, but it wasn’t a big deal. I’d have given five stars if the place had been tidied up a bit more. The pool was very cold, though we still went in.
