Houran Towers Residences

We’ve been here for a little over three years and are very happy living here. The staff, from security and maintenance to reception, management and the cleaners, are excellent and make us feel cared for. Cleaning costs extra, unless you choose to hire your own maid. We’re also grateful that dogs are welcome, and the other residents are friendly. There are plenty of fellow dog owners around too. Our two-bedroom apartment is extremely spacious, with three bathrooms, a big kitchen, an open dining and living area, floor-to-ceiling windows in every room, and four balconies, one off each room. There are also three- and four-bedroom apartments, but our place is more than enough for us. We’re on the second floor, which is handy for taking the dog in and out. You can hear some highway noise, though it doesn’t bother us, and I quite like a bit of background sound. The location makes it easy to reach many parts of the island. Dana Mall is less than a five-minute walk away, with a large Lulu Hypermarket and other shops. City Centre Mall is just across the highway by car, and Seef Mall and lots of other places are nearby. Lale Restaurant on the ground floor is a real bonus. It’s one of the best Turkish restaurants in Bahrain, and the team will deliver to your door. Rent is very reasonable for the space, comfort and convenience. One small thing that could be better is having separate access to the towers, instead of driving down the side of Dana Mall, where lorries sometimes park awkwardly. It’s not a major problem, though. We feel settled here and highly recommend Houran Towers.
