The pool was large and relaxing, and my clean room looked out over it. Majestic Hotel Juffair is also in a good location. The staff were kind and helpful, and I had a great time. I'd come back.

The reception was clean and organized, and having a ground-level pool is a nice feature with good access for visitors. The place feels quite old, though, and the outdoor area isn't well organized. For the money it may still be useful, but a renovation would make it better. I first came for our IELTS course. The party hall is simple and doesn't feel fully equipped for meetings or other occasions. The AC wasn't working well, the furniture wasn't very clean, and there were no tissues or coffee utensils.

The location is fine, but the room wasn't clean, the AC units were really noisy, and there was no service.

I've stayed here many times and it had always been good until today. Jackhammering started in the next room early in the morning, and I had to call reception repeatedly to get it stopped. At checkout I asked to speak with management, but nobody was available. I spoke by phone with one of the managers, who apologized and said there was an emergency, then promised to get back to me within a few hours. That never happened. When I called reception to follow up, they said the managers were busy and had no time to sort it out.

The air conditioner runs for about two hours, then stops working. I called to speak with the manager, but was told they were busy. I waited nearly two hours and wasn't called back. When I phoned again, they said they'd seen me waiting at reception, but then told me the manager wasn't there at the moment.
