Oryx Tower

We stayed for two days, and the bad smell was hard to ignore. The room had poor facilities and no proper exhaust, and we could find only one power socket for charging a phone. There were no refreshments. The towels and bedding smelled bad too, and the microwave fridge was rusty. Please think carefully before booking.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the internet worked well. The pool was okay too. The location is a plus, with a mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. Cleanliness needs attention, though: there was hair on the bed linens, which is a big no for me. Service took three days, which was another downside. They could get a better rating from me if they focused more on cleanliness.

The reception team was accommodating and helpful, especially Vikram. The main advantage here is being close to city restaurants and nightclubs. Don’t expect the usual hotel luxuries, and I’d avoid ordering food through the hotel: front desk staff will probably point you to pricier Bangladeshi options that don’t match the food quality.

The couches were stained and extremely dusty, and the room and bedding were filthy. The bathroom was barely usable. We had to track down housekeeping before they provided towels. I wouldn’t bring my family here.
