Cockroaches were either twitching on their backs or scurrying around the apartment at night. The bathroom ceiling was caving in above the toilet with the ripped-off seat, and the other toilet leaked around its base, leaving water on the floor even after I dried it. We also had no towels when we arrived, though staff brought some up after we asked. There was a remote for the channels but no TV remote, so we couldn’t watch anything, even though my 3-year-old wanted to when we got back at night. The two-bedroom apartment did have two beds. For what we paid, though, it wasn’t worth it. If the nightly price were 10 BD lower, it might have been. It could work if you just need somewhere for a family of five or more to sleep for 30 BD or more a night, but I wouldn’t call it a nice place to stay.
