Riviera Palace

The room wasn't cleaned for two days, and when I reported that the AC wasn't working, nobody responded. I paid for an AC room but had to stay without air conditioning. The service was pathetic, and staff wouldn't help resolve the problems or check with the TPA that had sent them business. I travel to Varansi often, and this was my worst experience there so far. They also charged me for items I hadn't used, plus an extra fee because of their party's mistake. I paid anyway, but they insisted on cash. It made me wonder if they wanted to keep the payment off the books and in staff pockets. They didn't give me a bill for the extra charge. The staff were arrogant, and the response made the hotel seem not customer oriented. How can they stop me from posting about bad behavior on a public platform when they did something wrong? If all my complaints are wrong, then I'm sorry, and you're very good people with a very good hotel. Even so, I still wouldn't suggest that travelers choose it.
