Right in the capital, this is a peaceful, restful hotel with friendly staff. My room was cleaned every day. They don't supply toothpaste, so bring your own or ask reception to buy some for you, as I did. A good place to stay if you're passing through Bujumbura.

The staff were quick to reply to emails, and we had a great stay. Our balcony looked over the pool, the AC was nice and cold, and the breakfast had everything we could want. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. Thanks, we'll be back!

The quiet setting made me feel safe throughout our stay, and since we came from a different climate, we were glad to have the air conditioning. It was our first time in Burundi, and we got such a warm welcome. The staff were attentive, and management was kind and flexible about what we needed. We were a group, so the buffet was worth paying for, and it was ready when we arrived. By night three, the staff already knew how we liked our coffee and tea. Alex always greeted us with a smile. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel. We ran out of time to use the gym, but the treadmill looked great for exercise. Imana ibahezagire!

For three enjoyable weeks, this was my home in Burundi. My favorite moments were early in the morning, sitting quietly on my private balcony with a cup of tea. I could smell distant wood smoke, with Lake Tanganyika on one side and the green Bujumbura Hills and exotic palm trees on the other.

The pool was a lovely place to relax, and the gym was well equipped. I also found the beds comfortable, the air conditioning good, the food great, and the staff very attentive. Everything was exceptionally clean, each bedroom had its own fridge, and getting to the airport was easy. If you're staying in Bujumbura, this is the place. I can't recommend KCC highly enough!
