The welcome at Star Hotel felt warm and made me feel at home. The building is impressive and well looked after, and I had a wonderful stay. I’d definitely recommend it for a comfortable visit.

It’s easy to get to since Star hotel is close to the road, and the Bar & Restaurant gives the place a relaxing feel. There’s a big swimming pool, sauna and Massage, all good value for a relaxing break in the city. They should expand the parking and make a separate play area for kids, since lots of parents come with their children.

The views are lovely, and the place is clean with a huge swimming pool. It works well for a family outing, with children swimming while parents eat or relax. It’s also a fun place to meet up with a group of friends or film a video clip, lol.

We arrived in Bujumbura late at night, tired, and really appreciated that they made us a tasty late dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they let us check out late, which was great. The rooms are spacious but run down. There’s a big swimming pool that looked okay, though breakfast choices were limited.
