The room's air conditioning was very good, and there was a nice sit-out for relaxing in the evening. Still, I paid 20,000 CFA for one night, which felt expensive. The water heater didn't work, and the language barrier made it hard to communicate with the receptionists.

There’s a small sit-out where you can unwind in the evening, and the setting is generally quiet and safe. From the hotel, you can walk to the beautiful Plage de Fidjrosse. The front desk staff member was friendly and courteous, though we had to use Google Translate because he struggled with English and I don’t speak or understand French. I understand Amazing Grace Residence Hotel is an annex of Residence Easy Hotel in Cotonou, Benin Republic. We paid 20,000 CFA and chose the named “Bright” room. The room was spacious and clean, but the bathroom heater was faulty, and we had to ask for soap and tissues. The air conditioning worked very well, but there was no remote to adjust it, so when it got too cold we switched it off. The TV was good, though there were no cable or local channels to watch. I got a warm welcome when I arrived.

I loved this place. It felt like home, with a warm welcome, lovely views, beautiful architecture, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant served a nice breakfast too. If you visit Benin Republic and want that at-home feeling, this hotel has it.
