The hotel is very budget, and my first room had no air conditioning, just an industrial fan. I had to choose between sweating while I slept or listening to it all night. Then the bed broke as soon as I lay down. I didn't make a fuss, just went downstairs to tell the staff. They came up, saw what had happened, and moved me to another room with air conditioning and possibly the comfiest mattress I've slept on in a long time. The staff were the real highlight, very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Even with the language barrier, we managed to talk through my questions and what I wanted to do.

It's a 15min walk to the Zinsou museum and about 30min to Haie Vive, the expat/western food area. The airport transfer was included, though luggage storage for the day cost an extra 2500 CFA. The receptionist was quite helpful, and they serve reasonably priced food in the evening. This is a good, simple hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast included a baguette, but we had to pay extra for an omelette.

The receptionist spoke English, which was a plus, and the staff were friendly and helpful, the best part of my stay. My room was clean, though the hotel itself could use a serious makeover.
