I've had mixed luck with the food on a couple of visits. People say the bagels are amazing, though I tend to come for dinner. My bigger concern is the bill: after I paid, the waiter made an odd change to my receipt. When the change came back, it was a different receipt, and some of my money was folded up and wedged tightly into the bottom of the envelope. Easily the most elaborate waiter switcheroo I've seen. Keep a close eye on your receipt.

The atmosphere was charming, and the waiters were really friendly. I especially liked the homemade fries, though all the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Everyone was welcoming and accommodating, and I enjoyed both the meals and my stay. This has become my go-to guest house and restaurant in Cotonou.

The fresh pasta is excellent, but the rest of the experience has become disappointing. I've eaten here several times, and the service keeps getting worse. Even drinks can take a long time, and when food arrives cold or isn't cooked properly, staff won't take responsibility or listen to feedback. They seem clearly understaffed, and the service doesn't justify the high prices. I won't be coming back.

The staff handled a last-minute reservation problem smoothly, and their customer service was wonderful. It's an excellent place to stay and eat in Cotonou, probably the best one. I'd recommend it and will surely return!
