Le Kare Ebene

Rayan made a big difference during my stay. Since I don't speak French, she helped me in both English and Arabic and made things much easier. The rest of the staff were friendly and ready to help too. Kare Ebene is kept exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the attention to hygiene. I also enjoyed both restaurants, the sushi spot and the European one. I was very happy with my stay and would recommend the hotel to visitors from anywhere.

The staff are always smiling and greeting you, even when I show up at 1am. I honestly don't know how they keep up that energy 😂😂. The place itself is lovely, with roomy, comfortable rooms and big showers and bathrooms. There are two restaurants. One does great sushi and Japanese food, while the other serves local cuisine and is very good too.

I've been twice since the sushi restaurant opened last month, and I'm already planning to go back. The sushi is fresh, tasty, and fairly priced. I tried sushi elsewhere in Cotonou once and wasn't impressed, but this place is fantastic. The room has a great atmosphere, there's plenty of white wine, and the tuna queen roll is my favorite so far.

Prices are a little steep, but the food and service are great. I liked having the option to pay by card if I was short on cash. You can sit inside or head out to the garden-style seating in the backyard. A nice find this week, and I'd recommend it.
