4/10
The staff were pleasant, and the room had good air conditioning, a TV, and plenty of hot water. But the hotel’s upkeep lets it down badly. The safe didn’t work, and the shower drain was still blocked after five days, despite being told it would be fixed. The restaurant sometimes had very little food, too. It could live up to its official three-star rating from the government of Benin if it were better maintained.

6/10
The staff were friendly and willing to help, but the room felt old and poorly cared for. There were only two dishes available at the restaurant, and my impression of the place was below average.

The restaurant and its service were good, and breakfast was free. I stayed for two days, and the room and hotel service seemed okay. The room had a freezer but no water, and the Wi-Fi was very slow. They need to improve quite a bit. I’d rate it three stars.

The staff were very friendly, and I slept well during my one-night stay. There was hot water, so I took a long shower the next morning. I can’t comment on breakfast or dinner since I went out to eat at the beach front restaurant.

2/10
This used to be a favourite, but the service has deteriorated a lot. The location isn’t great, and the buffet breakfast was pathetic. My room’s air conditioner ( Climatiseur) leaked and was so noisy that I couldn’t sleep for most of the night. Complaining to reception made no difference. If possible, avoid staying there. There are plenty of other options in Cotonou that offer better value for money.
