Village Kirikou

The bamboo rooms were my favorite, like having your own little house. The beach was lovely, quiet, and very clean, and the staff were helpful and really nice. Food from the restaurant can take a bit, but it tastes delicious. I had a great time here.

The location made things easy, right by the beach and just a few minutes by car from street stalls selling fruit, ablo, and everyday necessities. There were lovely, cozy places to sit around the area, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Our room wasn't fancy, but it was good for what we paid. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the amazing omelette. Meals could use a little improvement, but we were very content overall and would gladly recommend village kirikou.

The bungalows are carefully made from reeds, with dry toilets, and almost everything used to build them is local and natural. Charles, the owner, has clearly thought through the details to make this a peaceful, eco-friendly place, and he goes out of his way to give guests a memorable stay. Nature is all around Kirikou Village. The restaurant sits by the water among coconut trees and soft sand. It's a special place, and I'm so glad I discovered it and got a feel for life in Grand Popo. I can't wait to return.

Everything was amazing, from the service and food to the place itself. It was clean and really relaxing. I love this initiative, and you can feel how much the owner wants guests to have a great experience. Highly recommended!
