I visited during the water disruption. The room was spacious, but the pool area needed cleaning. Staff weren't helpful, and the play area was outdated, with far too many broken toys. It looked more like a junk room.

The pool view from the suite was great, and the space and in-room amenities were handy. Staff were polite, though they could have explained extra charges more clearly. The room was mostly clean, but there was a drain smell and the sofa felt musty. Breakfast was basic but fine. A decent stay with a few small things to improve.

This was our second stay, and we’ll come back. The staff made the experience feel more meaningful, and the hotel feels like a five-star place.

So far, I've had a very good experience at The Lanes Hotel. The amenities are great, and the staff have been efficient, responding promptly whenever I've asked for service. I hope that continues.

For a short trip, this is an affordable, relaxed place to stay. The room was clean and cozy, with the basics covered, and the staff were friendly and easy to approach. Being right in town is handy too, with shops and places to eat within walking distance.
