Star Lodge Hotel

A big thank you to the two night shift staff on January 30, 2026, at around 2 a.m. They tried to get the toilet door open while my husband was stuck inside. We were panicking and laughing at him at the same time. That's a happy-couple memory for us, since we’re always teasing each other.

The location was easy to get to, and the place felt cozy and nice. I was there for an event, so I didn't get to see the rooms.

My son became unwell in the middle of the night, and Mr Dino helped me get medicine for him. I really appreciated the support and the hotel’s hospitality. His professional, attentive service made a strong impression, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

I was put up here for one night by the airline after missing an outbound connection. It works reasonably well as a business hotel: my dated room was spacious and clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower pressure was okay, with the water running hotter than cooler. Breakfast was basic but filling, and the Wi-Fi was usable at around 10 Mbps download. There are two penthouse rooms on the highest floors and a pool accessible from outside the guest rooms. Getting around was a downside, since the hotel is some distance from both the airport and city centre. I could also hear other guests coming and going because the sound insulation wasn't great. Pool splashing was somewhat disturbing from 7 to 11 in the morning. The Wi-Fi network wasn't unified between rooms and lobby, though several rooms sharing a router seemed to keep latency down. With few facilities on site, it suits a night stay before heading out during the day.
