The main door doesn't lock at all, whether or not I use the key card. I had to barricade it with luggage, and the hotel needs to fix this as soon as possible. Parking is also difficult to find because there's a cafe and bakeshop nearby, and there are no spaces reserved for hotel guests.

The rooms were clean, though old and a little run down. The pillows definitely weren't new. Some people in our party had to switch rooms because of problems ranging from power trips to air conditioners that didn't work. The water had a slight rusty smell, perhaps from old piping, and the towels looked worn, with frayed corners. They replace the brush, soaps, and towels daily. There's a filtered water dispenser on the 1st floor. The hotel is on Jalan Gadong, with some restaurants and a Supa Save supermarket nearby, but the facade looks very dated and the city center is about 10 minutes away by car. Inside, it's decent and basic. There's no official laundry service or fitness facility, no elevators in the three-storey building, and no safe boxes. WiFi is available but quite limited.

The room was spacious, and ours connected to another room, which worked well for our family. There’s a supermarket within walking distance, and groups with several cars can use its parking lot. The staff were friendly and attentive, even offering to walk us to the car and help with luggage. We’d booked breakfast for two, and adding another light meal and drinks cost only 4 Brunei Dollars.

Fine for a single night, but I wouldn’t want to stay here longer. The bathroom vent had a terrible smell, though I had an air freshener in my car and used that. The place really needs maintenance and upgrades. Everything feels very old and like it’s coming apart.
