Hotel Pairumani

The local market is a sight to see, and the hotel is well placed for visiting it. Cathedral Square is about a five-minute walk away, and most places are within ten minutes on foot or a very cheap taxi ride. The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are kind and helpful. There's a nice little pool and sauna, both kept clean, plus a good range of breakfast food. I had a good stay.

The good breakfast and nice room couldn't make up for the terrible service. The shower stops running after a while, they don't take credit cards, and I've asked for an invoice for five days with no reply. It all feels disorganized. I travel to this region often, but these problems are concerning enough that they've lost me as a customer.

Breakfast was good, but the hotel doesn't feel like a four-star place. Our room was much too large, with half of it empty and echoing, and we could hear plenty of noise from the hallways and other rooms. The receptionists were serious and gave only brief information, though the receptionist on our departure day was much friendlier and more helpful.

The breakfast has lots of variety and was delicious, and the infrastructure is very nice and elegant. The staff are welcoming and really kind, with excellent customer service. El hotel Pairumani is a great option for visiting cocha. I'd recommend it ;)
