Hotel Alexander

We booked this thinking it was a hotel close to the airport for an early flight, as advertised. The place felt seedy and dirty, was dangerous, and had very loud noise and music even on a weeknight. We were only in the room for about 10 minutes, but they refused to refund us. They then arranged a terribly overpriced ride to the airport. Avoid it, and I suspect the positive reviews are bots.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel is so close to the airport that Uber thinks you’re already there. But the room smelled strongly of chemical spray, enough to make my hair smell after 15 minutes inside. It was unclean, the sheets were stained and looked like blood had been sprayed on one corner, and we found a used condom under the curtain. They refunded us, so we left for another hotel.

The free breakfast was delicious, but the room was small and outdated, with loud to extremely loud noise all night. The neighborhood is really bad and didn’t feel safe for tourists. There’s a parking garage, though space is very limited.

Music plays around the area all night and you can hear it in the room. The staff seemed undertrained, didn’t know the room prices, and kept changing them while calling their boss for permission, which meant the price went up. I felt scammed. Worst hotel ever, highly don’t recommend it, avoid at all costs!
