Reception was friendly and helpful, and there are lots of shops nearby. They also pointed us to Buen Gusto, which was a great pick. Our double room was spacious and had a handy fridge, but the street noise carried on late and the windows barely kept it out. There was no AC or fan. The room felt chilly later in the day, and the heater didn’t do much. The bathroom needs a better way to keep shower water off the floor, perhaps a longer curtain, higher barrier, and a proper bath mat. It’s fine for a quick stop between flights, but expect noise and limited temperature control. The airport is around a 10-minute taxi ride away.

The street views are fascinating, though an inner room would probably be quieter. We were braced for worse, but this is really just a place to sleep near the airport before a flight. There aren’t tourist restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. We got a meager breakfast on the 5th piso in the evening before our early departure. Wi-Fi was strong while it worked, and there was hot water, but the bathroom was tiny. We had to step into the shower to get out of it. Those heart-shaped lights earned the place the nickname “the love shack.”
