We were a group of around 100 and stayed several weeks. The hotel staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful, and always ready to go the extra mile. We appreciated everything they did. Our experience with the owner was very different: their approach to concerns felt aggressive and sometimes bullying. For our final night, we'd arranged a team dinner and paid extra in advance, with the numbers confirmed weeks earlier. There wasn't enough food when we arrived. We asked whether more was coming and were told no, we couldn't have any more. We'd also sent a detailed list of dietary requirements well in advance, but none were considered when the meal was served. When we raised both the lack of food and the poor value with the owner, they responded with hostility instead of trying to resolve things, saying, "I need my money now. I will put a chain on my door—no one enters and no one leaves." That was shocking and completely inappropriate. There were other problems too. Hot water was unreliable or absent in many rooms. In the few rooms where it worked, it either lasted only a few seconds or was dangerously hot. Wi-Fi was very poor, and there were no clear instructions for connecting. We're grateful to the staff for their hard work and kindness, but the way the owner handled these issues left a lot to be desired.

It was a cosy place overall, but we booked as a group and hot water kept failing for several days for quite a few of us. The Wi-Fi was barely usable, and the food was mediocre.

The rooms were nice and large, and clean, with very friendly staff. They helped arrange our airport transfers, which were always on time and went as agreed. The hotel is on the main road, close to everything and within walking distance of the market, restaurants, and laundries. Good value for a stay in central La Paz, and I'd recommend it.

Room 829 was very good. It had a hose in the cabin.

Breakfast is a little plain, and some rooms don't have heating, so it can feel cold during winter.
