The rooms are okay, though nothing special for the price, and the bathrooms are tiny. Breakfast comes with the room, but, as in pretty much everywhere in Bolivia, it isn't worth much: dry bread, one egg, butter, and jam. The hotel entrance is always locked, so you have to ring the bell to get in or out, and leave your keys at reception every time. It seems secure, but being unable to keep your own room key isn't common practice.

They charged us the standard price, which normally includes breakfast, but served none because we were there on New Year's Eve night. Why should I pay for a service I don't get? If they don't want to serve breakfast after their New Year party, they should at least lower the price. Ridiculous. The door wouldn't lock. During the night someone opened it with a shove “by mistake,” and luckily we were inside. The toilet was the smallest I've ever seen. The shower is right in the toilet area, so the sink and WC get showered too. Water doesn't drain through the floor hole at all. You can sweep the floor for hours and it's still wet a whole day later.

The manager was excellent. Lise drove my husband to the bus terminal to buy tickets for our next destination, and helped him understand the ticket seller because of the language barrier. She spoke Spanish and English. The price was great and breakfast was okay, though the bathroom was a bit too small. They could charge a little more and do some repairs. There were only two plugs, and one didn't work, so I could charge just one phone at a time. 😀

We spent two nights in the dorm, and it's a great place. The kitchen is nice, though a fridge would be useful, even if the weather is cold enough. Best bread in Bolivia.

The breakfast was good, there's a kitchen available, and the staff are friendly. I had a private room for two nights. It was very basic but seemed clean. WiFi didn't work in the room, and the bathroom is so small you have to shower right beside the toilet.
