Residencial Hinojosa

I came with my family of five, including a 4-year-old girl, and they gave her breakfast too. The owner takes care of any problem you have. There’s also a garage, and the place has wifi, automatic heating, cable TV, a bathroom, a hot shower, and breakfast included. Those negative comments are a lie.

It's not worth the price and doesn't deserve even one star. The manager is completely inattentive, the service is terrible, and despite the intense cold there's no heating or hot water. The wardrobe is old and falling apart, the bed isn't even a decent cot and has no headboard. Everything they advertise is a lie.

The room was warm, including at night, and the shower was spacious with hot water. The staff were attentive and helped us find the train station, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was excellent too 🤤. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of the breakfast or rooms.

The ants were the strangest part of the stay. At check-in, they were all over the nightstand. We let it go, but when we went to bed they were on the sheets, ceiling, and walls, so we asked to change rooms. They agreed reluctantly and said I'd brought them in on my clothes. The ants were already on the ceiling and walls as soon as we entered the other room, so apparently my clothes had infested that one too. Crazy. The next morning, they canceled my Booking.com reservation. I don't know if it was to stop me writing a review or to avoid paying the commission. The rooms smell like a sewer, and the ventilation points into a hallway, so you hear everything. The motion-activated hallway light kept waking me up. The bed was uncomfortable, with us rolling into the middle, and the sheets were rough. They didn't have change for the payment amount, which was different from what Booking.com had indicated, so we had to ask for the rest a few days later. When they still didn't have any, we ended up buying them toothpaste. The staff weren't very helpful, and we had to ask several times for towels. With no curtain or shower screen in the bathroom, the whole shower area gets flooded, making it uncomfortable to splash around in the water. I really don't recommend staying here!
